Digital assets, blockchain networks and payment services involve risks.

Digital Asset Risk

Digital assets can experience significant price changes.

Users may suffer financial loss.

Past performance does not guarantee future performance.

Stablecoin Risk

ARCAVEO expects to support selected stablecoins including USDT and USDC.

Stablecoins are designed to track another asset or currency, but their value is not guaranteed.

Risks may include:

  • loss of peg;

  • issuer risk;

  • liquidity problems;

  • redemption restrictions;

  • asset freezing;

  • regulatory restrictions; and

  • technical failure.

Self-Custody Wallet Risk

Where users hold assets in a self-custody wallet, they are responsible for:

  • private keys;

  • seed phrases;

  • wallet credentials;

  • device security;

  • transaction addresses; and

  • transaction authorisation.

ARCAVEO cannot recover private keys or seed phrases belonging to an independent wallet.

Card Funding Risk

There is an important distinction between assets held in a user’s own wallet and assets transferred into the card programme.

Once digital assets are transferred for card funding, payment, conversion or settlement, different custody and processing arrangements may apply.

The applicable Cardholder Terms govern those funds.

Blockchain Risk

Blockchain networks may experience:

  • congestion;

  • delays;

  • fees;

  • outages;

  • protocol changes;

  • forks;

  • vulnerabilities; and

  • cyberattacks.

ARC GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED does not control independent blockchain networks.

Conversion and FX Risk

Card use may require conversion from digital assets into fiat currency.

Conversion may involve:

  • market-price movements;

  • spreads;

  • conversion fees;

  • foreign-exchange fees;

  • network fees;

  • third-party charges; and

  • settlement timing.

Card Acceptance

Where ARCAVEO is issued through Visa, card use remains subject to merchant acceptance and applicable programme rules.

Acceptance is not guaranteed at every merchant, in every country or for every transaction type.

Regulatory Risk

Digital-asset and payment regulation continues to develop internationally.

Changes may affect:

  • asset support;

  • geographic availability;

  • card issuance;

  • onboarding;

  • fees;

  • limits; and

  • product functionality.

Third-Party Risk

ARCAVEO relies on independent providers for certain operational services.

Failures, restrictions or service interruptions involving those providers may affect ARCAVEO services.

Cybersecurity Risk

Users should remain alert to:

  • phishing;

  • fraudulent websites;

  • malware;

  • credential theft;

  • social engineering;

  • SIM swapping;

  • account takeover; and

  • fake customer-support messages.

ARCAVEO will never request the seed phrase or private key of an external wallet through ordinary customer-support channels.

No Investment Advice

ARCAVEO does not provide investment advice.

Nothing on arcaveocard.com is a recommendation to acquire, sell or hold any digital asset.
